Direct Counsel is seeking a mid to senior-level associate with a minimum of three years of experience to join a highly regarded firm in San Francisco. This role focuses on emerging company work, venture capital and growth capital investment transactions, and general corporate law.
Responsibilities
- Represent startups and investors in venture capital financings and M&A transactions
- Provide strategic counsel to emerging and established companies across various industries, including fintech, digital media, consumer products, and software services
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, commercial agreements, and corporate governance materials
- Work closely with partners and clients in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
