Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patients’ oral health needs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Administer anesthetics to ensure patient comfort
- Use dental equipment and instruments effectively and safely
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Ascend or other dental software
- Collaborate with dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Licensed to practice dentistry in Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
