Our client is a non-profit organization providing housing and support services to Youth / Young Adults facing homelessness.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Residential Advisor will provide supervision and delivery of residential services to residents, within the framework of the Mission Statement, Policies and Procedures. This position is required to adhere to all agency policies / procedures and practices (time / attendance, cell phone, telecommunications, safety, alert).
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide supervision of the shelter, including coverage of the various areas of the facility.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Answer telephones and monitor clients’ use of phone
- Complete paperwork as assigned
- Review clients’ files on a regular basis
- Work directly with clients doing triage, (i.e., field / needs / incident questions)
- Inspect common areas for cleanliness and safety on a daily basis
- Monitor clients in the shelter
- Be alert to clients and surroundings even during one-on-one conversations
- Develop knowledge of the current community resources available to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Salary : $21 - $23
