Position Summary
This is a professional clinical position providing clinical quality reviews for the Housing First Division which provide individual, couples', and family counseling for those affected by trauma, mental illness, or substance misuse, using evidence-based practices and research-supported interventions to restore and improve the quality of life for each individual served. In addition, these Divisions also provide behavioral health case management clients with serious and persistent mental illness in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, vocational, and other necessary services. All programming utilizes a solution-focused, client or family centered approach and evidenced based or research supported practices to assist adults and families in problem solving skills, behavior strategies, and anger management skills, among other therapeutic interventions.
The Clinical Quality Assurance Reviewer will be dedicated to ensuring clinical quality assurance in the Directions for Living (DFL) services, including determining medical necessity and monitoring healthcare documents to ensure compliance and quality. This includes completing, or a mix of completing and approving, all bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and other documentation and assessments as required. The Clinical Quality Assurance Reviewer of is responsible for ensuring clinical assessments and plans comply with documentation standards and all regulatory requirements. The Clinical Quality Assurance Reviewer will be a Clinical subject matter expert ensuring that all client assessments and plans focus on appropriate interventions, utilizing natural supports and ensuring that all services emphasize individualized treatment planning that is strength based. The Clinical Quality Assurance Reviewer will understand the overall quality management system at DFL and will seek to not only promote compliance but strive for quality in all clinical assessments and planning. The Clinical Quality Assurance Reviewer will identify opportunities for continuing clinical education, support and growth of the program team members. The Clinical Quality Assurance Reviewer of must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work collaboratively with other DFL team members. This is a clinic-based position. This position reports to the Clinical Director.

Education Experience/Requirements
- Must hold a master's degree Social Work or related area of study from an accredited university.
- Florida licensure as a LMFT, LMHC or LCSW required, and must be maintained throughout employment at the Team Member's expense.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk populations to include families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health, and emotionally disturbed children.
- Previous child welfare experience is preferred.
