The Psychiatric Medical Clinic Office Manager plays a critical role in supporting and expediting client care by working closely with the Medical Director, Senior Director of Outpatient Services, Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management, Psychiatric APRNs, psychiatrists, and clinicians. This position oversees the work of medical assistants, manages special projects, and ensures that M.A. services are delivered with high competency, quality, and appropriateness. The Medical Clinic Office Manager also provides direct clinical support by taking vital signs and administering injections when coverage is needed.
This individual will manage and guide the Medical Assistant Team, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This position is a medical and clinical role with a primary focus on direct interaction with clients, families, physicians, and other medical and clinical professionals. Responsibilities include coordinating physician and APRN services for adult and children's outpatient medication management, screening client records, collecting data, and interpreting data for outcome studies.

Education Experience/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree with completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or outpatient setting is required.
- At least 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment is required.
- Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including Psychiatrists, Psychiatric APRNs, and clinical staff, is essential.
- Experience in coordinating medical services and managing special projects is an asset.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and administering injections is required.
- Expert with electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation practices is required.
- Mastery in taking vital signs, administering injections, and performing other standard M.A. duties.
- Must ensure quality and adherence to healthcare regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in manage data collection and interpretation for outcome studies.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and oversee the competency of medical assistants.
