We have an immediate opening for the Line Haul Manager’s LEAD Person!
HONEST JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an extremely EASY job! The Base Pay for this position is $893.06 per week. (Remember, just the base, and it will not go down, only up!) You will be working around 34 - 35 hours a week, which basically comes out to $25.51 an hour! Again, this is just the base pay!
Monday – Wednesday Your start time will be 12:30AM. If I don’t have a run for you to cover, you will work the dock. The first hour, you will sort some mail bags. Once you are finished, you will have about an hour break (paid). Then our first truck arrives around 02:30am with 24-26 pallets. You will offload this truck with the forklift and stage it on our dock. The next truck arrives about an hour later, with 12-14 pallets. These will get staged on the dock. The last 2 trucks arrive about an hour later, with 1-8 pallets between the 2 trucks. I ask that you assist the sorters working the dock by helping sort the “LIGHT WEIGHT” plastic totes in between the truck’s arrivals, and after the last truck is off loaded. This all takes place from 12:30am to 7am. Basically, you will work around 6.5 hours a night, but you are paid for 8! If you happen to finish at 5:30am, you get to go home and your pay stays the same.
On Thursdays and Fridays, you will be on one of our dedicated runs to either Morrisville or Charlotte. Both routes take 6.5 to 7 hours to complete. All of our runs are 1 pick-up / 1 delivery. NO TOUCH FREIGHT!!
I will also be teaching you much of my job, so when I am not here, you will be in charge and fill in for me. You will also be a “Point of Contact” to ALL of my drivers! I am looking for someone with personal structure, which means to me that, I don’t have to “Baby Sit.” You “Take the Initiative.” You take pride in “Setting the Example” by being on time, reliable, and getting the job done the right way while giving your best.

SCHEDULE
- Full time (Monday – Friday)
- Hours are: Monday – Wednesday 12:30am to 7am on the dock, or back-up driver, which always comes first!

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years tractor trailer experience (Minimum)
- Can operate a 10-speed manual transmission
- Must have a good amount of forklift experience. (We will Certify you)
- Report to work on time
- Clean Criminal Report & drug screen/Clearinghouse
- 2 moving violations or less in the past 3 years
- Valid CDL and DOT Medical Card
- Minimum 25 years of age
