What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grocery Merchandiser position at DirecToHispanic?
We are seeking a full time Merchandiser to service retailers in Merced, Modesto and Turlock areas. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must. Position is Monday-Thursday(4 days a week). Must have reliable transportation and iPad to enter in data/photos. Below are some of the job duties:
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador by building and cultivating relationships with store and department managers.
- Monitor sales volume and inventory levels.
- Present and create awareness with store management about approved deals from corporate.
- Encourage stores to order more products and accept the orders.
- Support promotional activities by negotiating/building displays to ensure product is available for consumers.
- Place in-store promotional materials; neck-hangers, aisle stoppers, danglers, coupons, samples etc...
- Rotate products and assist with new item cut-ins.
- Monitor and ensure the approved schematic layout and planogram.
- Take pictures of products, displays and competitive sets.
- Complete daily and weekly reports as instructed.
- Execute special promotional campaigns and resets as directed.
- Additional activities as requested by company management.
