Role Summary
The Managing Director of Kadaster is responsible for leading the organization, ensuring the effective management and administration of land and property registration, and overseeing geospatial information services. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The MD collaborates closely with the Finance Director and reports directly to the Supervisory Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization’s mission while providing visionary leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Operational Management : Oversee day-to-day operations for efficient service delivery, ensure accurate land and property registration and geospatial data management, and monitor departmental performance to align with strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders, represent the organization in public forums to promote its interests, and ensure transparent communication and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and implement policies to safeguard data integrity, privacy, and security.
- Human Resources Management : Lead and develop a high-performing team, foster a positive organizational culture, and oversee staff recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.
- Technology and Innovation : Promote the adoption of advanced technologies for better service delivery and oversee the development and maintenance of information systems.
- Reporting and Accountability : Provide regular reports to the SBOD on performance, challenges, and opportunities, and ensure timely and accurate reporting on operational and financial metrics.
