Job Summary:
We are seeking a California-licensed Psychiatrist to provide full-time psychiatric services in two outpatient clinic locations, Gilroy and Campbell, CA. The role involves working varying shifts across the two clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Provide psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation.
- Support after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary.
- Maintain licensure, attend required training, and represent the agency at meetings.
Psychiatric Services
The Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with therapists and clinical program managers to provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including:
- Assessments and diagnoses
- Treatment planning and medication management
- Comprehensive care coordination
Working closely with the clinical team, the Psychiatrist will ensure high-quality patient care, adhering to medical protocols and addressing any psychiatric emergencies that may arise.
