Dirigo Federal Credit Union is a profitable and fast-growing community credit union headquartered in Lewiston, Maine. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage Closing Processor in our Auburn Operations Office.
This position supports our mortgage team by ensuring the timely and accurate processing, closing, and packaging of all member mortgage loans. The Mortgage Closing Processor verifies that loan documentation is complete and accurate, while complying with applicable lending program policies. This is a full-time position, working out of our lending operations center in Auburn, and office hours are 8 – 5pm.
Responsibilities include:
· Assemble closing documents for delivery to title company, real estate broker, or lending officer for closing
· Coordinate outstanding documents required with borrower, real estate broker, and/or title company
· Disburse loan funds and file loan documents
· Enter and maintain accurate loan information on computer operating system and prepares required reports for management
· Provide backup support for Mortgage Processor which includes coordinating title, appraisal, and other requirements, producing mortgage loan disclosures, and contacting borrowers to resolve questions and request missing documents for mortgage files

· Commitment to providing superb member service, by being responsive, pleasant and attentive
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills needed while maintaining multiple loan files at different stages of completion
· Computer-familiarity and ability to navigate loan origination system
