What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glass shop Technician position at Dirigo Glass, Inc.?
Glass Shop Technician General duties:
Full time, year around Technician/installer out of our Belfast shop. This is a great opportunity for you to build a long-term career. Excellent schedule: Generally Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 and one Saturday (8:00-12:00) a month.
Best for someone who likes variety in their duties, enjoys working with their hands, working in climate controlled shop(s) as well as inside and outside at various job-sites throughout Knox and Waldo Counties. WILL TRAIN but helpful if you have relevant skills.
Some experience with hand and power tools, especially a tape measure is needed. Must be able to lift, carry and maneuver heavy objects and accurately read a tape measure. Climbing ladders, learning new skills, and issue resolution will be needed as well. Good attendance and good work ethic are a must. Clean driving record and clean back ground record required.
Dirigo Glass replaces auto glass, furnishes and installs our custom shower enclosures, custom cut flat glass, replace insulated glass units, windows and other glass related products.
