What we are looking for
We are seeking a well rounded and highly talented Landscaping Installation Foreman who can oversee projects from design to completion. We service commercial properties and high end residential homes around the Truckee Tahoe Area.
Job Duties
- Project manage and oversee day - to - day operations of projects
- Job site inspections
- Ensure quality work is performed
- Ensure project is completed within budget
- Supervise and lead 3 crews with 2- 3 laborers within each crew
- Lead and train new hires
- Proactive in tracking materials and upcoming material needs
- Ability to pivot & problem solve
- Update job status with Office Manager & Team in a timely fashion
- Ensure workers are safe and all safely protocols are followed
- Ensure that work is completed in compliance with local regulations
- Safeguard assets from theft and misuse
- Safely tow trailers and operate landscaping equipment
- Communicate with and build relationships with clients
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to to bend continuously at the knees and work low to ground
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time
- Clear direct communication
- Efficient in working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints & landscape design drawings
- Represent our brand and culture professionally at all times
- Comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulations
- Experienced heavy equipment operator
- Ability to maintain and operate landscaping equipment
Job Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) HIGHLY desirable
- CA drivers license with clean driving record
- Class "A" license a huge plus
- Knowledge of Irrigation not required, but huge plus
- 3 - 5 Years experience in Landscaping
Pay
- This is a full time seasonal, hourly position
- Willingness and availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pay range $35 - $ 37 per hour or based on experience
- Potential for year round work
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
