Summary

As a Lumber Associate at Dirlam Lumber Company, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that lumber and building supplies are efficiently handled and delivered. This position is essential to supporting our customers' needs and contributing to the success of their projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely move lumber and building materials around the lumberyard and inside the warehouse.
• Assist in order picking and preparing shipments for delivery to customers.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and stock replenishment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track orders and inventory accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries regarding products.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or lumber yard environment is preferred.
• Valid forklift certification is a plus.
• Heavy lifting is required.
• Working Saturday is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
