Dirt Farm Brewing in Bluemont, VA is looking for one cook to join our 30-person strong team. We are located on 18701 Foggy Bottom Road. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, always positive, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Open and close our culinary operations
- Cook dishes to business standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Manage stock of accessible ingredients in a fast-paced environment
- Efficiently work under the head chef and with team members toward a common goal
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient station
Qualifications
- Work experience as a cook, line cook, or similar role
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively with strong verbal communication skills and a positive attitude with our guests and staff
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
This person ensures our guests have a great culinary experience while visiting our farm brewery. The position is a full-time yet seasonal, with the potential for a year- round position. Our ideal candidate has 2 yrs of kitchen experience, is ambitious, hard-working, and can manage in a fast-paced environment delivering both front and back-of-house duties in a leadership role.
