The Role
We’re searching for a Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes content creation. You should be comfortable in front of and behind the camera, love attending events, and know how to create high-energy, high-engagement video content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
This isn’t a desk-only role. You’ll be on-site at events, capturing raw and engaging moments, conducting interviews, and testing out creative, out-of-the-box video strategies that make us stand out in the industry. The right candidate will have a natural instinct for engagement, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to turn content around quickly while maintaining quality.
This is a fast-moving, highly creative position where you’ll have room to experiment, take risks for engagement, and shape this role as we expand into new markets. Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Video Strategy: Plan, shoot, and edit highly engaging short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- On-Camera & Event Coverage: Attend industry events, interview guests, and create behind-the-scenes content that showcases our brand in action.
- Community Engagement: Craft engaging posts, respond to comments, and spark conversations that build a strong, active audience.
- Trendspotting & Experimentation: Stay ahead of social media trends, jump on viral moments, and test new creative video ideas that push our brand forward.
- Fast-Paced Execution: Turn around high-quality content quickly, keeping a high volume of posts flowing while maintaining quality and engagement.
- Brand Integrity & Voice: Ensure all content aligns with our brand personality while standing out from competitors in the industry.
- Multi-Brand Creativity: Manage social content across multiple brands under our umbrella, adapting messaging and visuals for each.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in social media content creation (or a strong personal portfolio of highly engaging videos with high views/engagement).
- Passion for video storytelling, events, and audience engagement—you should thrive on making creative, viral-worthy content.
- Comfortable on-camera, conducting interviews, and attending live events.
- Fast content production skills—ability to shoot, edit, and post high-quality videos quickly.
- Strong understanding of what makes content go viral and spark conversation.
- Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts (and their respective algorithms).
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
- Agency experience or desire to work across multiple brands is necessary.
