Position Overview:
The IT Security Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s cybersecurity strategy to protect IT systems, networks, and data from threats. This role involves leading security initiatives, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks to safeguard critical assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Monitor and assess systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance with security regulations.
- Design and implement security solutions, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Lead incident response efforts to identify, contain, and resolve security breaches.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging threats, trends, and technologies to recommend and deploy proactive measures.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with security objectives.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in cybersecurity leadership, with hands-on expertise in security tools and frameworks (e.g., SIEM, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
