Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction, particularly in concrete installation and related tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team on various construction sites.
Duties
- Assist in the installation of concrete structures, including foundations, slabs, and walls.
- Operate concrete pumping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required during concrete pouring and finishing processes.
- Utilize power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and layouts.
- Engage in frame carpentry tasks as needed for formwork preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Experience
- Previous experience in concrete installation or related construction fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials to job sites.
- Knowledge of flooring installation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately is highly valued.
- Experience with plastering or roofing tasks can enhance your application.
- A strong understanding of heavy lifting techniques to ensure safety during material handling is essential.
