- The Superintendent plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations within Dirty Duck Construction. Must have impeccable, leadership skills, and great customer service skills to help the customers achieve their dreams. Must be able to read, estimate and build off of plans profitably. You must be able to communicate expectations and daily tasks to be completed. Must be willing to work side by side with any employee.
Duties
- Lead and manage overall operations while estimating new jobs
- Market and find potential customers
- Develop and implement new procedures for time line management and job success
- Supervise and evaluate staff. Provide guidance to promote employee growth.
- Oversee budgeting and allocation of resources profitably.
- Assess construction outcomes to implement necessary changes.
- Make decisive, informed, independent decisions regarding current and future jobs.
Qualifications
- 5 years proven experience in construction with leadership, management and administrative background with knowledge of building codes.
- 2 years budgeting, construction estimating and resource management
- A capacity to inspire and motivate staff toward common goals.
- Excellent strategic planning and problem solving experience
- Exceptional communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
