What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista Manager position at Dirty Laundry?
We are looking for a dynamic, service-minded Barista Manager to lead our team to continued success. We want Team Members to enjoy themselves while creating a fun atmosphere for their guests and team members; Leaders who are accountable and have an entrepreneurial spirit are successful in our world.
What we are looking for:
- 3 yrs barista experience required, management experience preferred
- In depth experience in inventory practices and ordering procedures
- Hospitality mindset
- Attention to detail
- Training and development of hourly team members
- Ability to uphold standards, follow SOPs, and lead by example
Position Responsibilities:
- Address areas of concern and improve overall organization and profitability, including supplies, utility, liquor, beer, wine, and labor costs.
- Responsible for ensuring all financial information, including invoices and reporting, are accurately recorded in our inventory system.
- Closely monitoring the operating performance of your location and taking steps to address any performance hindrances.
- Hiring, training, and further developing a staff of professional team members, ensuring all adhere to company policy and provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
- Manage shifts and provide support where needed to ensure the location has optimal productivity and the highest quality guest experience.
- Ensuring the location complies with all safety regulations and standards, including filling out incident reports in the event a guest or employee is injured.
- Responsible for ensuring all payroll and personnel information and other administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and per company policies and procedures.
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints by taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Compensation: Hourly (plus tips)
