Be part of a team that is bringing revolutionary technology to the mining and remediation industries. We are looking for a field operations technician who will play a pivotal role in advancing Disa's High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology.
Job Description:
- Assist the lead geologist with site characterization projects in various western states. Effort is based out of the Naturita/Nucla area, Colorado.
- Perform radiological site characterizations by gamma scanning, soil sampling, and drilling.
- Primarily operate and maintain small drill rigs.
- Assist with operations, testing, and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Assist the geologist with data entry, analysis, and data reporting.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and an innovative mindset.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, have strong attention to detail, and follow work rules.
- Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
- Ability to maintain and operate mechanical equipment (small drill rigs and other testing equipment).
- Be reliable and appear for work on time and regularly.
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of college education in a technical major, is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Must be able to lift heavy material.
Location: Naturita, Nucla, Colorado. Travel time will be up to 50% of the time period between May (possibly April) and September (possibly October). The remaining months will consist of office work, equipment maintenance, materials testing, and assisting other Disa personnel.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
