- Assist in creating and editing content for social media, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Support the development and execution of communication campaigns.
- Monitor polling place information and adding content to Google Maps to enhance accessibility for the public.
- Review and evaluate story submissions, identifying high-quality content for social media channels.
- Extract data from DRA Program Performance Reports and prepare the data for use in infographics and other visual materials.
- Update and maintain the legislative page on our website using WordPress.
- Help coordinate outreach events, webinars, and public relations efforts.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing files and reports.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and tools like Google Maps, SharePoint, and WordPress.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative thinker and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Basic knowledge of social media content curation and digital storytelling a plus.
