Job Description
At UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and improving the lives of our patients. As a Clinical Supervisor/Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of safe and effective patient care after hours, on weekends and on holidays or when CNO/NM/Interim is not in building. Your responsibilities will include assessing all departments to ensure continuity of care and reporting pertinent information to management and administration.Responsibilities Include:
- Leading by example and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the nursing department.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.
- Providing education and training to nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs), ensuring timely and accurate QI assessments and scoring are performed.
