The Clinical Laboratory Tech Assistant will be responsible for the preparation of specimens for analysis by registering and accessing orders through both Hospital and Laboratory Information Systems as well as verification of specimen acceptability. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, performing pre-analytical and analytical laboratory procedures in accordance with established laboratory protocol and procedure, providing support functions to technologists, the operating and monitoring of laboratory equipment, repairing of equipment as within the scope of training, triaging and processing specimens in preparation for testing and transit, and maintaining inventory levels and stocks supplies.
The Hospital Lab Tech Assistant will earn a quick interview with previous laboratory experience and an Associates in Biology or Chemistry.
