Ranger has a Contract to Hire opportunity for a Control Panel Technician with a Controls and Automation client in the Phoenix Metro Area. The role would start on a Contract basis with the goal of converting to full time in the future.
Control Panel Technician
Description of Overall Accountability :
TheControl Panel Technicianpositions responsibilities include building and assembling electrical components, equipment and control panels. This position requires building electrical control panels per UL 508A and electrical prints, making and applying wire labels and panel labels.
List of Major Responsibilities :
- Assemble electrical enclosures in accordance with UL508A standards.
Make and apply labels / marking for enclosures as well as components on skids
Wire motors and various instrumentation
Perform control panel testing
Provide back-up for shipping / receiving
Maintain shop cleanliness
Qualifications Necessary to Perform Responsibilities :
Collaborative teamwork attitude
Strong work ethic focusing on quality and customer satisfaction
Able to read and understand Electrical diagrams and schematics, P&ID and GA
Proficient with wiring of low voltage
