The Healthcare Informatics Specialist is responsible for bridging the gap between Information Technology and Healthcare professionals, ensuring that everybody is trained in the usage of online charting in Meditech, as well as correctly and accurately filling out Electronic Health Records (EHR) for patients. Ensuring clinicians accurately document data related to patient care is paramount, as well as developing online training on EHR to ensure smooth documentation in the event on an information audit. This position will report directly to the Chief Information Officer.
