The Physical Therapist will join a team of tenured medical professionals at an outstanding 20 bed critical access hospital. This health system provides high quality care to it's rural community and has several EMS stations and outpatient clinics as well.
The Pediatric Physical Therapist will report directly to the Physical Therapy Manager and will collaborate with Senior Physical Therapists. The Physical Therapist will provide excellent care by conducting exercises that help restore proper function in patients struggling with a variety of ailments. The Physical Therapy team plays an integral role in the outpatient clinics as well as in an inpatient setting for the medical center. The Physical Therapist will supervise all of Physical Therapy exercises and will be responsible for patient assessment, treatment planning and implementation of new activities. They will encourage participation and provide guidance to both patients, nursing staff and family members when reviewing instructions. The Physical Therapist will accurately document patient progress and report any changes to their multidisciplinary team. The experienced Physical Therapist will provide their patients with personalized care plans with the goal to decrease pain with movement and increase mobility and range of motion. They will also be an advocate for their patients and ensure that they have all necessary resources and adequate education.
