Description : ABOUT THE ROLE
Performs various tasks associated with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems of the cement plant.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the cement plant (i.e. Instrumentation circuits, motor control circuits up to 13.8 kilovolts, low and medium voltage drives, monitoring analyzers).
- Schematic reading and instrumentation calibration.
- Digital and Analog PLC program use in troubleshooting.
- Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing and terminating.
- Basic mechanical activities such as non-critical welding and laser alignment.
- Perform walk-by inspections and diagnostic checks.
- Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Other duties, as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education : High School Diploma / GED
Additional Education Preferred : Associates, Technical Degree
Field of Study Preferred : Electrical
Required Work Experience : 5 years of industrial experience with instrumentation
Required Computer and Software Skills : General computer proficiency
