Location : High Lakes Health Care - Urgent Care, Bend, OR
Schedule : PRN, as needed; 1-2 shifts per week

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred, but not required

Minimum Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Team
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution or community college preferred
Experience (Preferred but Not Required) :
At least one year of hands-on experience in a medical setting as a Medical Assistant, CNA, Caregiver, or EMT
Skills that set you apart :
- Proficiency with EKGs, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary draws, and injections
- Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment
Other Requirements :
BLS Certification (must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire)
Up-to-date health records and immunizations to meet healthcare field requirements (Hepatitis B & Tuberculosis)

General Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment : Combination of medical office and exam / procedure room settings.
OSHA Category
This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and / or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
