Position Overview :
A large Private Wealth Firm is seeking a Onboarding Operations Manager to oversee the successful onboarding and transition process for new recruits and support staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in managing transitions for advisors, and be skilled at managing multiple tasks and collaborating with various departments. This role also involves working with third-party custodians, managing vendor relationships, and handling escalated issues to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the transition of new recruits, partnering with internal teams and Onboarding Operations to ensure seamless integration and white-glove service.
- Serve as the main point of contact for newly joining firms, ensuring all onboarding steps are successfully completed.
- Oversee the strategic planning and logistics for each onboarding firm, ensuring that timelines and expectations are met.
- Act as the liaison for third-party custodians, including managing access setup, login resets, and monthly account reconciliation.
- Handle vendor management tasks, including overseeing vendor invoices and resolving any issues that arise.
- Provide support for escalated issues, managing resolution and tracking progress until completion.
- Continuously learn and promote new processes and updates to the advisor network, contributing to team meetings and improving workflows.
- Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
