The Hospital PACU Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Surgical Services. The Manager will also work closely with and be supported by outstanding perioperative Assistant Nurse Managers as well as multiple Charge Nurses and tenured RNs. This person will have the opportunity to communicate and interact with a group of professional and engaged surgeons and anesthesiologists.
The PACU Nurse Manager will oversee a bustling department and have the opportunity to ensure the surgical department’s clinical and administrative success. The Manager will act as a liaison between the surgery department and various other departments throughout the hospital to verify smooth departmental transitions for patients receiving surgery. This person will also work closely with Perioperative Clinical Educators and other leadership members within the department to maintain the department and ensure policies and regulations are being met. The Manager will also support the Director by being an integral part of managing fiscal duties, supply chain, and staffing for the PACU.
