POSITION SUMMARY
Drives a truck to transport materials, supplies, or parts.
Qualifications
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives a truck to transport tools and equipment.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Transports, sets up, and operates emergency equipment such as hydraulic jacks used in derailments.
- Washes vehicles.
- Drives a truck to transport refuse.
- Drives Non-CDL vehicles such as autos, pick-ups, vans, etc.
- Operates snow removal equipment such as pick-ups with plows, etc.
- Operates construction type vehicles such as fork-lifts, etc.
- Hooks up and tows welder trailers, concrete mixers, air compressors, etc.
- Assists tow truck driver as needed to pick up disabled vehicles such as buses, trucks, autos, etc.
- Performs shop activities such as changing tires, waxing and vacuuming vehicles.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
