ElectricalTechnician
Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Supervising electricians.
Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
2-year electrical, technical, or related degree.
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
At least 2 years' experience as an electrical technician.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
Conduct electrical testing and diagnostics on coaches to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit boards, and electrical devices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding electrical systems and safety.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems.
Inspect and test electrical systems using specialized equipment.
Assist in the development and implementation of new electrical systems and technologies.
Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and other electrical-related activities.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :
High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in electrical systems preferred.
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in the automotive or related industry considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with automotive electrical components and systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and software.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
