Northrop Grumman’s SSSD is seeking a Testbeds Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer to integrate and test embedded hardware and software systems in a development environment for a restricted program. This role offers a system-level perspective of satellite integration with hands-on experience integrating hardware and simulators with operational flight and ground software. The position also offers exposure to flight operations, spacecraft subsystems, and payloads with support from technical experts. This position requires some software exposure through maintenance and reworking of legacy code. The role involves significant coordination with the team for OS upgrades and requires strong leadership skills for effective testbed integration and maintenance efforts.

Salary Range : $89,400 - $134,200
Salary Range 2 : $110,300 - $165,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
