About the Role
You will generate new business revenue by selling LexisNexis products to corporate legal departments within your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify new revenue growth opportunities in assigned territories.
- Cultivate further potential for current customers and develop sales leads for Account Managers for cross-selling.
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.
- Accept orders, close sales, maintain customer records, and complete required documentation.
- Plan for approaching and monitoring resources while working within the overall sales plan developed by the team manager.
- Liaise with other departments within LN to align customer requirements with company objectives.
Requirements
- Have in-depth knowledge of strategic selling techniques and CRM systems.
- Be able to effectively partner and collaborate across teams.
- Be able to converse with customers to gain insight and understand needs and challenges.
- Display a proven track record of working successfully in a business development role.
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have impressive prospecting, selling, negotiating, and closing skills.
- Have successful business-to-business sales experience.
- Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
