Job Description:
We are seeking a Certified IICRC Mold Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mold remediation and be certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC). You will be responsible for assessing, containing, and remediating mold-affected areas while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct mold inspections and assessments using industry-approved techniques.
•Perform mold remediation services, including containment, removal, and disposal.
•Operate air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and other remediation equipment.
•Follow IICRC S520 guidelines and company protocols to ensure safe and effective mold removal.
•Collaborate with project managers and restoration teams to complete jobs efficiently.
•Maintain accurate documentation, including reports and job site photos.
•Educate clients on mold prevention and indoor air quality improvements.
•Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
•IICRC Mold Remediation Certification (AMRT or MRS preferred).
•Minimum of [X] years of experience in mold remediation and environmental services.
•Knowledge of containment setup, negative air pressure, and remediation best practices.
•Ability to work in confined spaces, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs.
•Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•Willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Additional IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.).
•Experience in water damage restoration and biohazard cleanup.
•Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
