A successful Vendor Development Manager is a high energy, elite networker who does whatever it takes to make 10 - 20 contacts a day and close. They will be highly motivated, self-directed and passionate about creating and nurturing relationships with clients and partners.
This crucial role involves a combination of sales, marketing, and strategic planning to identify and secure new partnerships. This provides a lucrative opportunity for you. Our average commissions are $200-$500 per sale salary bonuses. This position is expected to close 10 - 15 projects per week when we blitz this specific vertical.
Commissions can be as high as $10,000 on a single sale.
This is an in-person position in Boise, Idaho with a territory from eastern Oregon to Mountain Home.

What's the job?
The Vendor Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and pursuing partnerships with service industry vendors. This role involves building relationships with clients, generating leads, and developing effective strategies to expand the company's customer base. The specialist will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote our services and drive revenue growth.
- Constantly finding our ideal partners. From knocking down doors, networking functions of all kinds, attending industry events, to asking for referrals with existing customers, work to identify and connect with partners that could benefit from our relationship.
- Closing new deals. Take potential clients through a journey to get them from prospect to partner.
- Focus on increasing revenue with existing clients. Constantly identify and connect with referrers at new and existing client locations to increase market share.
- Be the competition expert. Find ways to win. Masterfully articulate Disaster Responses key differentiators, knowing what sets us apart from the competition.
- Be hyper focused on setting your production teammates up for success. Collaborate with the production team to ensure that we're providing an ideal client experience.
What are we looking for?
- At least three (3) years of experience in service industry sales, relationship sales, or door to door sales with an emphasis on partnership acquisition and account management.
- Proficiency in office productivity software and familiar with CRM usage
- Experience in the plumbing/HVAC/roofing industry sales a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Able to listen effectively and resolve conflict in a positive, productive manner
- Able to be calm and communicate effectively with customers who are in a stressful situation
