Position Title : Remote 1099 Independent Contractor - Photography Editor
Position Type : Contracted, event by event basis (February - October), remote
The DGPT is an organization dedicated to promoting and growing professional disc golf through the administration of our Tour, a series of elite disc golf tournaments across North America and Europe. We focus on teamwork, innovation, and collaboration to achieve our goals and look forward to hiring a remote photography editor who shares our passion for the sport of disc golf to help grow our organization and the game.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Available during event days
3-day Elite Events (Friday - Sunday), 4-day Events Elite and 2 Majors (Thursday - Sunday), and 1 5-day Event PDGA Worlds (Wednesday - Sunday)
8 - 10 hour event days19 expected events (see below)Remote edit for lead DGPT Photographer via a remote desktop accessSort, select, color, and crop images as they come in throughout the event dayWithin specifications set by the DGPT Photography department
Prioritizing leaders from each round in each division & ChampionsBefore each round ends the social media team will need the round leader / leaders from MPO and FPO
Uploaded to the leader’s folder in the Google Drive
Put together images of the 4 players who played on the Jomez card each roundUploaded to a specific folder in Google Drive
Export selected images with specific file names (as directed by DGPT Photography department)Keep an organized file structure during exporting to the Hard Drive
Upload images to both company Google Drive and the DGPT Smug MugLinks will be provided for specific folders
Do base organization for end-of-season needs? (Trading cards, Calendars, Posters)Sort
