We are looking to add a sales cashier to our team. The cashier assumes several job duties. Primary responsibilities include operating cash registers, greeting customers, taking orders, and completing transactions. Cashiers also regularly clean work stations and inventory supplies and product.
Training and Requirements
Cashiers work on foot for long periods of time. Applicants should possess excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer and mathematics skills. Supervisors train new-hire cashiers on cash register operations and basic protocol. Training typically lasts a week or two and involves verbal and visual demonstration. Minimum age requirements for employment consideration fall at 16 years of age.
