Under general supervision, the Real Estate Development Porject Manager II plans, directs, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the specified time frame and funding parameters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Real Estate Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, or related field.
Work Days:
Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary. Travel as required and up to 25%
Work Hours:
Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute multiple real estate development projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents across several states and regions
- Builds collaborative relationships with project stakeholders and project team members
- Ensures project results are clearly articulated within scope and delivered business benefits are of the highest caliber.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare project proposals.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Serves as subject matter expert in briefing stakeholders in aspects of project progress related to work completion, scope, cost and quality.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers by soliciting proposals and pricing
- Ensures flexibility in their use of project management methodology based on the project requirements
- Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays and report to key stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Stay updated on market trends, entitlements and zoning laws along with familiarity with ADA restrictions and best practices.
- Facilitates the procurement and sourcing of owner furnished items with general contractor in accordance with schedule
- Understanding of AIA documents and deep understanding of the real estate and construction life cycle
- A trusted expert in the field of construction, development and managing multiple projects and consultants
- Other duties may be assigned.
- This position requires at least 5 consecutive years of project management experience to include package implementation and support of complex business and technology projects.
- Project Managers must understand the fundamental concepts of the modern day real estate and construction environment;
- Retail Construction and/development background and a proven ability to inspire teamwork, earn trust, facilitate collaboration and remove barriers to ensure project delivery.
- Project Management best practices including communication, budget, cost, schedule, risk, change and quality management.
- Servant leader who prioritizes the needs of others, and focuses on helping their team grow and develop.
- Contract review and vendor negotiation is also required.
