Under minimal supervision, the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Intranet Platform Specialist Senior Solutions Architect assists in analyzing software requirements, delivering cross-domain solution architectures to address Intranet product development opportunities, and automating new or enhance existing software applications / systems. The specialist in this role will be working with a project team to re-platform our existing Intranet capabilities, implement new capabilities for the digital employee experience within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and connecting to other platforms and solutions for data integrations and content delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide solution options and designs on the optimal ways to adopt and leverage Adobe Experience Manager as the new platform for Intranet apps and content dissemination.
• Establish and administer connectivity with AEM to existing and new external systems.
• Develop and support data integrations and services into and out from AEM.
• Administer the Federated Search tool.
• Work with other internal and external IT staff (Identity Team, Network Engineering, Integrations Engineering, Intranet developers and content specialists, etc.) to get work done with and through others.
• Support and advise content publishers and developers on how to best use AEM's content management capabilities.
• Assist employees, vendors, and other internal customers by answering questions related to Intranet development, testing, and deployment processes, procedures, and services.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand software needs and define detailed business and technical requirements; translate requirements into technical solutions with developers; provide recommendations and contingency plans.
• Provide effort and duration commitments.
• Facilitate meetings and conference calls with internal stakeholders and 3rd party consultants.
• Attend meetings and provide meeting minutes. Capture key decisions and action items.
• Document requirements and capabilities into Business and Technical Design Documents, use cases and stories.
• Participate in planning workshops / design sessions to envision and assess business needs, features, and desired capabilities.
• Capture, document and design business, application, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA), developers / engineers and architects to align solutions, identify dependencies, and ensure functional results.
• Conduct feasibility and impact analysis; identify cross-project, application, or business unit dependencies; provide solutions to mitigate risk; develop contingency plans for potential impacts.
• Stay current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies.
• Record, maintain and manage customer software change requests within the Company's tracking system.
• Drive work to stage gate deliverables (review and give feedback on deliverables, oversee / mentor adherence to template usage, etc.)

Education Requirements :

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
