Warehouse Associate (Full & Part-Time Shifts)

Available Shifts:

Full-Time:

• Weekend shift (Wednesday-Saturday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)

Part-Time:

• 1-Day Weekend (Saturdays only, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)
• 2-Day Weekend (Fridays & Saturdays, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)
• 4-Day Weekend (Wednesday-Saturday, 11:30 am to 3:30 pm)

Role and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Read orders accurately
• Enter information into the system accurately & properly
• Locate books in the warehouse according to customer order specifications
• Organize books according to condition
• Follow department procedures regarding proper processing, sorting, and packaging
• Stage product for loading/supply line as needed using a manual pallet jack
• Tag inventory & place in designated areas using a manual pallet jack
• Package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Manage workflow & keeping work areas clean & organized

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and over shoulder on a consistent basis throughout the shift, with minimal breaks of no longer than 10-15 minutes
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours a day
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts, communicate easily, and come up with solutions to problems
• Must have the ability to climb, stand, push, and pull at least 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Self-starter – Must be able to work with little supervision
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required; Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend conversational English to be able to read stock orders, safety rules, and instructions in the use of equipment
• Safety oriented

Previous forklift experience
