Warehouse Associate (Shift Includes Saturday)

We are immediately hiring for the shifts shown below. Please have updated resume when applying for this position.

Available Full-Time Shifts:

• Weekend shift (Wednesday-Saturday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)
• 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)
• 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am to 8:30 pm)

Available Part-Time Shifts:

• 1st AM PT (Mon - Thur, 7:00 am to 11 am)
• 1st PMPT (Mon - Thur, 11:30 am to 3:30 pm)
• 2nd PT (Mon - Thur, 4 pm to 8 pm)
• 2-Day Weekend (Fridays & Saturdays, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)
• Weekend shift (Wednesday-Saturday, 11:30 am to 3:30 pm)

Role and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Read orders accurately
• Enter information into the system accurately & properly
• Locate books in the warehouse according to customer order specifications
• Organize books according to the condition
• Follow department procedures regarding proper processing, sorting, and packaging
• Stage product for loading/supply line as needed using a manual pallet jack
• Tag inventory & place it in designated areas using a manual pallet jack
• Package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Manage workflow & keeping work areas clean & organized

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, and over the shoulder consistently throughout the shift, with minimal breaks of no longer than 10-15 minutes
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours a day
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts, communicate easily, and come up with solutions to problems
• Must have the ability to climb, stand, push, and pull at least 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Self-starter – Must be able to work with little supervision
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required; Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend conversational English to be able to read stock orders, safety rules, and instructions in the use of equipment
• Safety oriented
