Join Our Team as an Assistant Director of Nursing!
We are excited to announce that we are in the process of pursuing our Medicare certification and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. This part-time position has the potential to lead to a permanent role as we grow our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee the nursing staff and ensure that all clinical documentation meets the standards set forth by Medicare and other regulatory bodies
.- Coordinate and manage care for a caseload of 8 clients receiving weekly visits, tailoring care plans to meet individual needs
.- Conduct home visits to clients' residences, providing direct nursing care and conducting health assessments in their home environments.
- Utilize Alora Health documentation for accurate and timely record-keeping, ensuring that all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with OASIS requirements.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding health management and care plans
.- Conduct regular assessments of clients’ health and wellness, providing nursing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Director of Nursing to discuss standards required for passing accreditation and address any clinical concerns
.- Promote a team-oriented work environment by fostering communication and collaboration among nursing staff.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client visits while ensuring that all nursing duties are fulfilled effectively.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting.
- Proficiency in Alora Health documentation and familiarity with OASIS.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
