Job Title: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician
Department: Manufacturing

Summary:
The selected candidate will assist in the production of supplies for pre-clinical and clinical development, with a primary focus on transdermal drug-delivery technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize various processing techniques and equipment to prepare product samples.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks under the guidance of senior technical staff to aid product and process development.
- Review production schedules, interpret specifications, determine material requirements, and assemble necessary components for manufacturing.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGXP), standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain equipment functionality by following operational procedures, troubleshooting issues, and requesting repairs as needed.
- Accurately document production activities, including equipment use, batch records, reports, and logs.
- Record detailed observations while following good documentation practices.
- Participate in training programs to enhance job-related skills.
- Contribute to the organization’s success by taking initiative in new tasks and identifying areas for process improvement.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as balances and mixers.
- Experience with manual operations and detailed documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- 0-5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience operating processing equipment.
- Knowledge of and adherence to GMP regulations.
Reporting & Collaboration:
Reports directly to the Operations Manager and collaborates with project team members.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting, along with the ability to operate a computer, handle laboratory equipment, and perform precise manual tasks within controlled environments such as isolators or gloveboxes. Employees must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and following cleanroom gowning procedures.
Work Environment:
Work is conducted primarily in laboratory settings and cleanroom environments. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to support employees with disabilities in performing essential job functions.
