Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator - We are hiring for multiple locations across the United States! 12 month contracts.
Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care and fostering positive experiences in orthodontic treatment? We are seeking an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our team and help patients navigate their orthodontic journey with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Present orthodontic treatment plans and provide clear, accurate cost estimates.
- Educate patients on the orthodontist's diagnosis and recommended treatments.
- Track collections, monitor payments, and conduct necessary follow-ups with patients.
- Explain and adhere to payment policies and procedures.
- Facilitate a high rate of treatment acceptance by discussing insurance coverage, financial options, and payment plans.
- Solicit patient referrals and track satisfaction post-treatment.
- Confirm appointments and ensure patients are informed of any fees due.
- Maintain compliance with government regulations and company standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an Treatment Coordinator in a clinical/medical setting.
Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of orthodontic treatment plans, CDT codes, and dental insurance processes.
- Ability to articulate orthodontic techniques and treatments effectively.
Preferred:
- 3 years of customer service experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- RHS (Radiation Health & Safety) certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, parents, and staff.
- Comfortable operating computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, twist, turn, bend, and stoop as needed.
