Process & Controls Engineer (Automation Engineer)

1 Year long contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the automation systems for packaging and ancillary equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with teams from Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Research.
  • Implement system modifications, experiments, and smaller-scale capital projects.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP and industry standards during equipment upgrades and system modifications.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of automation systems, including installation, validation, and performance tracking.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical) with 3 years of automation experience in pharmaceutical, medical devices, or biotech.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related fields.
  • Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming (Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred).
  • Experience with Machine Vision, Robotics, GMP practices, and validation protocols.
  • Strong project management and technical writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Transformation and Operational Excellence principles.
