Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and respectful space for all students.
- Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique learning styles and needs.
- Engage in regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the school.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Utilize Montessori principles or similar teaching methods as applicable to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience in classroom management and working with young children in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with private school environments is a plus.
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in teaching foundational subjects such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Previous experience providing toddler care or working with students of various ages is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
