We are looking for team members who are_ EXPERIENCED_ dog trainers, DayCamp attendants, Vet technicians or other dog handling fields, to add to our team who are motivated, caring and not afraid of working hard in a supportive, resourceful and fun working environment. These entry level positions at DYD! and offer opportunities to grow w/the company, learn and earn.
Your role will include overseeing group play sessions, working one on one with dogs during our mental enrichment sessions, reinforcing basic behaviors, hiking 1-2 dogs on lead and greeting owners during pick up/drop off. In addition, there will be the opportunity to assist our DaySchool Lead Trainer with our DaySchool and group classes. .
We work very hard to maintain a clean and healthy environment for our camp & training clients, so CLEANING is ongoing and may be 50% of your day! Candidates must be comfortable with all aspects of cleaning up after our clients and maintaining an extremely clean facility.
Ideal candidates will have previous paid pet professional experience with a whatever it takes attitude. Candidates with PAID, Professional training experience preferred. All candidates must have a drivers license and dependable transportation, 18 or older, be physically able to be on your feet for the duration of your shift with the ability to be able to move quickly, comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, pay great attention to detail, have great communication as well as customer service skills, a strong desire to be part of a team committed to personal and professional excellence, work well on their own and able to prioritize tasks efficiently, have the ability to remain calm and patient in challenging environments and situations, willing to hustle and give 110% and most of all, LOVE dogs!
Our operating hours are 7am-5:30 . Occasional weekend shifts may become available in the near future.
