Job Description
What You'll Do
Manage a team that performs advanced analytics and provide business partners with intelligence and/or recommendations to solve business issues.
Conduct advanced analytics, including both qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify trends, variations, patterns, and insights.
Ensure team members produce accurate and on-time delivery of analyses and recommendations.
How You’ll Do It
Manage a team, including hire/fire, performance review, assignment of work, and development decisions.
Ensure team delivers deadline-driven, accurate, and insightful analyses and reports.
Create a culture that engages business partners through a collaborative approach that promotes fact-based, data-driven decisions.
Review the results of advanced analytical analyses. Identify areas for improvement in an analysis or additional data that should be investigated and ensure team members execute.
Identify the need for consistent monitoring of trends and the need to incorporate an analysis within a dashboard.
Identify the need for business intelligence in different areas of the business and assign team members to gather and analyze the data.
Present findings from analyses and make recommendations to leadership.
Partner with leadership to ensure an in-depth understanding of requirements and performance levers (KPIs) for each analysis. Identify value drivers and partners with business and process owners to define success measures.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Master's degree in business, engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related technical/quantitative field
4 years of experience in quantitative/analytics/data science role, driving advanced analytics at scale
In lieu of a degree, 6 years of experience in quantitative/analytics/data science role, driving advanced analytics at scale with bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field
Bonus Points If You Have
6 years of experience in quantitative/analytics/data science role, driving advanced analytics at scale
1 years of experience in people leadership, managing a team of analysts
