Position Summary:
We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at FORT MYERS Home Health. In this role, you will work with patients in their homes to provide quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by the therapist
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional mobility
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health or rehab setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current CPR certification
